Nutritional supplement
Dosage form
This supplement is produced and supplied in the form of enteric
capsules containing pellets (100 mg of elemental iron) in Tehran Darou
Pharmaceutical Company.
Introduction
Iron is one of the most important elements in the body, which plays a role
in the production of hemoglobin in the blood. Therefore, iron deficiency causes
a decrease in the production of hemoglobin and, as a result, anemia. Ferrous glycine
sulfate is formed by binding amino acid glycine to ferrous
sulfate salt, which is used as a source of iron to treat iron deficiency
anemia. It is worth
mentioning that hemoglobin is responsible for transporting oxygen to the brain,
heart, muscles and other tissues throughout the body and is an important factor
in maintaining energy levels and normal body functions. In addition, iron is important for the
proper functioning of enzymes and for the normal growth of children and
improving the functioning of the immune system. Figel®
brings us higher absorption by releasing iron in the duodenum, which is a suitable
place for absorption. Also,
the amino acid glycine in this composition protects iron and causes less
interactions with compounds in the digestive system and also reduces the side
effects of iron.

The usual dose for adults and children over 6 years old is one
